Community Natural Foods Looking to Prioritize Edmonton-Area Products in New Strathcona Location
Edmonton, AB – April 4, 2023 – Community Natural Foods is putting out the call to local Edmonton vendors to apply to pitch your product to our category management team. We’re looking for the best local organic, sustainable products to put on your shelves.

As a local business in Calgary since 1977 we believe strongly in supporting local producers, manufacturers, and non-profits as a benefit to the local economy and to our planet. We currently have over 1000 Alberta-made products listed and we’re always looking for more. Recently we announced a new Community Natural Foods store opening in the vibrant community of Old Strathcona in Edmonton and we thought what better time to reach out to local producers and see if we can expand our 1000 Alberta-made product offering.
Submit your brand and product details here by April 11th to be considered.

Those brands that make it through the pre-screen will be invited to a Live Local Product Presentation event on April 19th in Edmonton.
Community Natural Foods’ category managers vet every product on our shelves for toxicity, quality (grade, processing, and source) and impact on human, animal, and environmental welfare. Our my CNF Verified Ingredients list is verified by a third party to maintain the latest research-backed ingredient standards in Alberta. These high standards mean that we seek to offer products that are true-to-nature, minimally or non-processed, wholesome, life-giving, and free from unnecessary additives so our customers can feel confident about shopping at Community.

- Artificial flavours, sweeteners, fragrances (perfume) and preservatives

- Packaged products without ingredients listed on their labels
- Products from companies that conduct animal testing or contain ingredients currently tested on animals
