(November 25, 2020 – Calgary, Alta.) Western Canada-based Save-On-Foods is continuing its expansion with the grand opening of its brand-new Trinity Hills store in Calgary on Friday, November 27.
Located at 420 Na’a Plaza SW, Save-On-Foods Trinity Hills will offer Calgarians the best of a traditional grocery store, as well as a wide variety of fresh innovations including:
- A signature coffee bar
- A wing bar
- A custom cake program; and even,
- Homestyle fried chicken.
With more than 147 team members, customers will be treated to the personalized “extra mile” service that Save-On-Foods is known for, both in-store and online.
“My amazing team has been working tirelessly to get our new store up and running,” said Save-On-Foods Trinity Hills store manager Dan Faithfull. “I am so proud of what we have accomplished and can’t wait to welcome the community to see it this weekend!”
“We are thrilled to continue our expansion in the fantastic city of Calgary with the opening of this beautiful new store,” said Save-On-Foods president Darrell Jones. “The rapidly growing community of Trinity Hills is the perfect location for our latest Save-On-Foods and we are so excited to go the extra mile for our new neighbours.”
Save-On-Foods is on a path of steady growth from B.C. to Manitoba. With 181 stores, the Langley, B.C.-based company has opened 36 new stores in the last five years. Save-On-Foods Trinity Hills is the company’s 14th Calgary area store, including one Urban Fare.
Located adjacent to Olympic Park, Trinity Hills was a natural choice for Save-On-Foods to establish a new store in part to the new neighbourhood’s vision of mixed-use retail and residential, thoughtful design, and community feel.
Grand opening celebrations kick off on Friday, November 27 and continue all weekend. Starting November 30, one lucky shopper will be randomly selected each day to win their groceries for free until December 9.
Save-On-Foods Trinity Hills is open to all customers with enhanced safety protocols in place from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
