Media invited to sneak preview of brand new Save-On-Foods Whitehorse

(August 23, 2017 – Whitehorse, Yukon) Members of the Whitehorse media are invited to a special sneak preview of Save-On-Foods Whitehorse to celebrate the B.C.-based company’s first store in Canada’s north and sample its fresh-made food offering.

The store boasts a wide variety of made-in-store foods, including fresh sushi, hand-stretched Napoli-style pizza, a frozen yogurt bar, and a variety of unique chocolate-covered confections in the bakery.

Doors open at 5 p.m., and remarks by Save-On-Foods president Darrell Jones, store manager Alan Kaarsemaker, and local dignitaries are slated to begin at 6 p.m. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will conclude the formal portion of the evening, and guests are invited to browse the store’s unique offering.

The store will open to the public on Friday, August 25, with grand opening festivities taking place on Saturday, August 26.
