New locations in North Surrey and Vancouver’s Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood will focus on pharmacy care, health services and everyday essentials
RICHMOND, BC, September 3, 2026 – London Drugs is expanding its community pharmacy concept to British Columbia with two new locations in North Surrey and Vancouver’s Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood.
Building on the success of an existing community pharmacy location, the new stores will place a greater emphasis on pharmacy care, health services and everyday essentials, with an assortment tailored to the needs of the local community. The format is designed to provide convenient access to trusted healthcare and the essential products customers rely on most.

The North Surrey and Hastings-Sunrise locations will offer:

- Minor ailment assessment and prescribing for eligible conditions

- Curated health, wellness and everyday essentials
As pharmacists play an increasingly important role in delivering community healthcare, the pharmacy-focused concept reflects London Drugs’ commitment to evolving alongside the needs of the communities it serves. By placing greater emphasis on pharmacy care, health services and everyday essentials, the format allows London Drugs to tailor its offering to local needs while maintaining the trusted service customers have come to expect.

The North Surrey and Hastings-Sunrise locations will serve as pilot sites as London Drugs evaluates opportunities to bring the concept to additional communities in the future.

The North Surrey and Hastings-Sunrise locations are expected to open in early 2027 and will serve as pilot sites as London Drugs evaluates opportunities to bring the concept to additional communities in the future.
