Save-On-Foods celebrates grand opening of new Garden City store

(March 21, 2023 – Richmond, B.C.) Western Canadian grocery retailer Save-On-Foods officially opens the doors to its newest location, Save-On-Foods Garden City at 370-9100 Blundell Road, on Thursday, March 23.

The 20,500-square-foot store will offer the community a traditional grocery shopping experience as well as a wide variety of Save-On-Foods’ new and unique innovations, including:

• A fresh and fantastic meat and seafood department stocked with Western Canadian AAA beef, and a large selection of fresh sausages, kabobs, marinated meats, and Ocean Wise Seafood
• New bakery stocked with baked-in-store treats, buttery and flaky croissants, a custom cake program and freshly baked breads made with quality ingredients and Western Canadian wheat
• A large selection of Save-On-Foods Kitchen grab ’n’ go items including signature sandwiches, homestyle fried chicken, ready-to-bake pizza, self-serve soups, and perfectly prepared in-store rolled sushi.
• A wing and appies bar available for customers that are looking for a go-to for everyday meals or parties, and more.
• A wide variety of organic and natural products including produce, breads, and Western Family organics.

Grand opening celebrations kick off on Thursday, March 23 with the first 500 customers of the day receiving a free Save-On-Foods gift card loaded with $10 – except for two cards, which will be loaded with $500 each! On Saturday, March 25, the first 500 customers will receive a free three-pound bag of Booth Ranch oranges (one per customer).
