North Vancouver, October 15, 2025 – Stong’s Market is proud to announce the opening of our fourth location in Surrey, BC. The new concept store will focus on local, fresh and organic, while becoming an integrated part of the Surrey community. As a leading locally owned independent grocery store, Stong’s Market has been providing exceptional selection with a community-based commitment for almost 100 years.
The new Stong’s Market is a smaller footprint that will focus on convenience, and serving the growing community within Surrey with features including a huge selection of hot meals to go, fresh salad bar, café, fresh produce, as well as grocery essentials.
Stong’s Market is also proud to announce that our second free-standing STEMS by Stong’s floral location is also now open in Surrey. This new store has a focus on fresh custom bouquets, succulents, tropical plants and beautiful giftware. STEMS by Stong’s prides itself in being the choice for customers seeking high quality, beautiful florals and unique gifts for every occasion. We are committed to sustainability, supporting local, building community and bringing style into the lives of our customers.

The new Stong’s Market and STEMS by Stong’s is located in the City Centre 4 building, part of the expanding Health and Technology District. The mixed-use 24-storey, 350,000-square-foot CC4 building will also be home to health, business and educational institutions, including Western Community College’s expanding Surrey campus, as well as a Homewood Suites by Hilton.
