Company presents donation to hospital at Miracle Weekend telethon

 (June 5, 2017 – Vancouver, B.C.) Save-On-Foods’ team members, customers and supplier partners raised an incredible $2,006,800.30 for BC Children’s Hospital over the last year and presented the donation at this year’s Miracle Weekend telethon.

The Langley-based company has been a steadfast supporter of children’s hospitals in Western Canada for decades and last year celebrated reaching 30 years of partnering with BC Children’s Hospital – and donating $30 million over that time. Save-On-Foods has since pledged to raise another $15 million to help the hospital foundation build an immunization clinic. Families who attend the new BC Children’s Hospital building – expected to open this fall – will be welcomed to the Save-On-Foods Atrium.
