Mississauga, Ont. – December 11, 2025 – Rabba Fine Foods has made its winter season donation to Food Banks Mississauga through its Rabba Roots Community Giving Program. The donation includes essential items from Maple Leaf Foods, Lassonde, Kruger and Dare Foods. The Rabba Roots Community Program collected 3,000 pounds in total. This contribution was curated to ensure local families have access to nourishing meals and daily essentials throughout the holiday season and challenging winter months.
“This initiative is a powerful example of what strong partnerships can achieve for our communities,” says Rima Rabba. “We are proud to work alongside Food Banks Mississauga, whose dedicated team works tirelessly to support our vulnerable neighbours with essential items. We extend our deepest gratitude to our wonderful partners— their commitment is a key part of this donation.”
Rabba donated 3,000 pounds of food including fresh produce such as apples, bananas, oranges, pineapples, Bear Paw cookies, Schneider’s bacon, and Cashmere bathroom tissue. The delivery also featured Allen’s Fruit Juice, Chef Boyardee, Heinz, and Bush’s Best canned essentials and even included festive flavours of whipped and coffee cream. This comprehensive effort ensures that local families have access to both nourishing necessities and foods that bring some joy during the holidays.

Our partnership with Rabba, especially including community efforts such as this one, is something we cherish deeply.”
