Originally unveiled at the 2025 Sweets and Snacks Expo, Nutella Peanut was developed specifically with North American tastes in mind, offering a new way to enjoy Nutella beyond the breakfast table and into afternoon snacking moments. The result is a carefully balanced recipe that delivers the signature Nutella experience, now with a rich peanut flavour that feels both indulgent and familiar.
Ferrero’s innovation team set out to make sure this new spread lived up to the Nutella name. Extensive consumer testing confirmed they got it right, landing on a chocolate-to-peanut balance that delivers smooth creaminess and real peanut taste in a way that hasn’t been achieved before.
Launching in April 2026, Nutella Peanut will be available in two sizes at major retailers across Canada. Nutella Peanut speaks to fans of both Nutella and classic chocolate-peanut combinations, creating a new, premium chocolate-hazelnut-peanut spread designed for new snacking occasions, while complementing Nutella’s long-standing place at the breakfast table.
