Nestlé Canada is proud to sharing its 2025 Creating Shared Value Snapshot – a concise look at how our company is strengthening communities, advancing climate action and supporting the well-being of Canadians across the country.
Creating Shared Value (CSV) is the foundation of how Nestlé operates — integrating social and environmental impact directly into its business strategy to create long‑term value for both society and the company. The Nestlé Canada’s 2025 Creating Shared Value Snapshot shows how this approach is being activated globally and locally, highlighting progress on food security, climate action, community well‑being and trust in the food system, while offering an industry‑relevant example of how purpose‑led business models are evolving in response to rising expectations of corporate responsibility.
The Snapshot highlights measurable progress and long‑term commitments, including:
- More than $700M spent with Canadian suppliers, supporting jobs and local economies
- 100% renewable electricity across Nestlé‑owned sites in Canada and zero waste to landfill at Nestlé-owned factories in Canada.
- Over $3 million combined worth of product and monetary donations to local charities and Canadian communities that support food insecurity, youth mental health, biodiversity and our communities.
- As of 2025, 91% of Nestle Canada’s plastic packaging was designed for recycling.
