Jim Donald, Speaker at IDDBA 18, Named President and COO of Albertsons Companies
Madison, WI — Albertsons Companies announced that Jim Donald, former President and Chief Executive Officer of Starbucks, has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Albertsons Companies. Donald will be at IDDBA 18 as an expert in Expert Neighborhood and speaking in the Show and Sell Workshop.
Jim Donald will be available in Expert Neighborhood Sunday, June 10 and Monday, June 11 to answer questions on retail leadership strategies, global expansion, and business wisdom. Expert Neighborhood is an area on the show floor where attendees can make appointments with various experts to meet one-on-one to discuss questions, industry challenges, and business problems. He is also appearing in the Show and Sell Workshop, an intimate presentation area on the show floor, on Sunday, June 10 to talk about The Future of Fresh.
Donald was named one of the “Top 25 CEO’s in the World” by The Best Practice Institute and is a successful leader and an accomplished businessman in retail. As former CEO of Starbucks, Haggen Food & Pharmacy, Pathmark Supermarkets and Extended Stay Hotels, Donald is often called the “turnaround king” as he’s spent four decades helping struggling companies find their footing.
