Dear Suppliers, Customers, and Service Partners,
We are writing today with the exciting announcement that 15:17 Brands Ltd. has acquired the operating assets of Alberta Natural Products Ltd. as part of the legacy and succession planning for Garry Wilkes, the founder of Community Natural Foods, Alberta Natural Product and MW Natural Products.
15:17 Brands creates our second-generation business, which will be owned and operated by Adam Martin. In addition to being family to Garry, Adam has worked actively within Garry’s businesses since 2010, leading Community Natural Foods through their sale and transition to Calgary Co-op’s ownership in 2019. More recently, leading operations at Alberta Natural Products and MW Natural Products. In addition to Adam, the same incredible staff team will continue to operate the business in their existing capacities.
With today’s announcement, we want to reassure all partners, including suppliers and customers, that we do not intend to change our operating activities. We will continue offering world-class body care products through Alberta Natural Products and Sensible brands, including all-natural cold-process soap bars, liquid hand soaps, and essential oils. We are also excited to expand our offering further in the coming months, with additional announcements to follow.
We also intend to honour the values that Garry has instilled in his businesses over the years, ensuring that we operate at the highest ethical standard. This includes our deep respect for our team members through our employment practices, our strong partnerships with suppliers and customers, and our dedication to Canada’s natural and organic sectors.
