New CoreLink™ case controller designed for refrigerated display cases with Hussmann modular coils
Bridgeton, MO – July 2016 –Hussmann introduces CoreLink, an electronic case controller for use in refrigerated display cases with Hussmann modular coils. While the two or three modular coils used in Hussmann medium temperature, multi-deck cases provide energy efficiency, temperature consistency and stability, CoreLink further enhances case performance with control algorithms for tighter temperature control and improved energy efficiency.
CoreLink provides superior temperature control reducing temperature swings to help maintain food freshness and reduce food loss. With CoreLink a single electronic controller and valve driver can manage up to three electronic expansion valves (EEVs) and control many other case functions, including lights, valves, fans, defrost and anti-sweat, resulting in up to 10% reduction in energy consumption.
CoreLink includes pre-configured and factory installed setups with case specific parameters for optimal case performance based on operating conditions, reducing the need for field programming, and enabling quick, easy, less costly commissioning.
User friendly dashboard allows simple control for both the nontechnical user and the service professional. With its built-in web interface, the controller enables users to easily change temperature set points; adjust other functions, including lights, fans, and defrost cycles; or remotely verify proper performance, diagnose issues and troubleshoot alarm conditions. CoreLink also provides local data storage and the ability for dashboard customization.
